    Description

All pouches are PB & Co Ltd. 1938 marked. Some pouches have small holes on the bottom and/or side, button rust spots, additional markings on front, but are in otherwise great condition for 1938 original items. Metal buttons on close flap. Measurements are approximately 6” W x 4.5” H. Assumed unissued, as the pouches were designed to be disposable.
The Boys Antitank Rifle, chambered in .550 caliber, was fed by 5 round stripper clips. The ammo was stored and distributed in these bandoliers that were meant to be disposed. 2, 5 round stripper clips would fit inside the pouch and it is speculated that the secondary button is to accommodate the triangular shape of the rifle magazine.
