    Description

    VERY impressive heavy brass tube scope, well polished.  I got the eye focus freed up but the 'Power' adjustment won't move.  With greater motivation and better tools, good penetrant and perhaps a little heat, IT WILL.  Two tiny setscrews are missing on 'power' sleeve where somebody was working on it.
    This 'scope was used on the ubiquitous WW2 "6-Pdr, 7Cwt" British Anti-Tank Cannon (57mm).  Has an 'inverted-V' reticule.
    Case dimensions 37 x 5 x 7 inches, 20 lbs.  Dated 1941.  Instrument S/N 252 does not match case number (263).  Mfr. Ottway.
