    WW2 Medal Group of (6) with 1953 Coronation to Usher, South African Forces
    Six - 1939-45 Star; Italy Star; DM; WM; ASM 307614 J.T. Usher;
    Eliz II Coronation Medal 1953 unnamed.
    John Thomas Usher attested on 28 February 1942 and was posted to the S.A. Military College. He was moved to No. 2 I.T.C.D. in Durban in October 1942. Embarked Durban for Suez on 12.9.43. Served in Italy with the S.A.A.C. and emplaned for return to the Union on 1.12.45.
    The 1953 Coronation medal confirmed as issued to Bandsman E21490 A.C.F.
    Sold with copied service card and the recipient’s medal bar as worn (which includes an Africa Star Ribbon).
    Medals display mounted, the 39/45 Star ribbon is torn, generally GVF.
