    Description

    This WW2 British Army 8th Eighth Army Souvenir 1943 North Africa Campaign Pillow Sham is in good condition but does show expected signs of age and storage. The sham is nicely marked with a number of battle victories and the dates in which they were fought. Such famous battles as El Alamein and Tobruk are prominently depicted. The stitching around the tassels is strong and most appear to be intact and clean. No makers mark stamp or tag is present on this sham. The sham appears to be made of silk and could have been produced "in country." There are several holes in the sham as well as light staining, but none detract from display. There are strong fold marks present associated with long term storage. Please examine the photographs carefully for the best description of condition.
