A.C.C. (Armoured Car Company) assume this is still Technical Service Corps ? 28/7/40 Promoted to A. Corpl. (Cook). Transferred to T.S.C. Base Workshops 10/9/44.  Discharged 20/4/45.  There is an official document that states the Chief of the General Staff expresses his deep regret that the late F. According to Volume One of The British Armies in World War Two - An Organizational History, by David Hughes, James Broshot, and Alan Philson, the 4th SA Armoured Car Regiment was attached to the 7th Armored Division during both Crusader and the Gazala battles. Desert Tracks by William E. Platz agrees with this and both sources indicate a strength of approximately 50 Marmon-Herringtons.
