Vtg 30s 40s Leather Dog Pouch Childs Purse

Description

A rare and authentic antique leather dog shaped purse. Difficult to say its exact era but some sources date this adorable pooch pouch as old as the 1920s! Made entirely from leather in a beautiful shade of slate gray with a tint of blue-green. Eyes are made of glass. There is a small pocket on its back with a flap a really interesting AMCO marked snap. Leather has been cleaned and newly conditioned but it is very fragile and is best for display use only. However it can be handled carefully if wanted to use to store something small and special! Make’s a wonderful addition to any collection!
