  • Condition: Box shows some wear in the form of scratches, nicks, and scotch tape residue. Hinge and clasp work fine. 10K pin is nice with all seed pearls tight. The 10K pendant is in good shape while the gold plated pin shows some edge wear under a jewels loop. These items have not been polished.

    Description

    For sale is an estate find lot of 1956 Chi Omega jewelry in a nice small Chi Omega keepsake box. The box is brass and has a copper Chi Omega crest on the top with Chi Omega symbology such as the skull & crossbones and an owl and well as other symbols. It is personalized with the engraved name FRAN. Inside it is lined with a wine colored velvet.
    Jewelry includes:
    One nice Chi Omega pin featuring the Chi symbol covered with seed pearls. This pin design was adopted in 1906. It shows the skull and crossbones, the owl, and the letters RHO, Beta, Upsilon, Eta, and Sigma. This piece was tested and shown to be 10K yellow gold. Pin works as it should. On the back is engraved "F. L. MEEGAN KA 4-7-56 W903".
    One nice Chi Omega pendant. This little pendant tested as 10K yellow gold. (No chain included) Approximately 1/2” long.
    One Chi Omega small pin approximately 1/2" long. This piece is yellow gold plated.
    Total weight of the 10K gold pieces is approximately 2.6 grams.
