VERY RARE 2 Page WWII German Death Card for a 39 Year Old Soldier Who Died "After 5 Days in an English POW Camp"
DESCRIPTION:
RARE 2 Page WWII German death card for a 39 Year Old Grenedier who died "AFTER 5 DAYS IN AN ENGLISH POW CAMP".
Specifically:
"Karl Loibl, farmer in civilian life, soldier in a grenedier regt, who died on Aug. 14,1944, aged 39, after 5 days in an English POW camp."
Very clear PHOTO showing him in uniform.
Card is in excellent condition.
Original card over 75 years old, and a nice picture and story of a soldier who otherwise would be a forgotten statistic.
