    Description

    1 strip upright piano hammer butt felt, medium thickness.
    5/16" wide, 0.197" thick, 52" long. Use on spinets, consoles, studios and uprights and I've even seen some use for felt this size on older grands too. Many uses. Hammer butt felt, jack felt (near tip), bottom back of catcher and more. Also available thin and medium (this is considered thick), check my eBay store.
    A click upon releasing the key (on verticals) can sometimes be attributed to a missing butt felt.  With a flashlight look at the hammerbutt, just behind the jack and verify that the felt is intact and in good shape (see photos).
