Estate sale find. Tri Delta Sorority Stars and Crescent Pin Badge 10K SMU. Condition is "Pre-Owned". Shipped with USPS First Class.
This is the official badge of initiated members of Delta Delta Delta, a.k.a. Tri Delta. It measures approximately 5/8 inches tall. There are three Delta symbols with black enamel on the front in addition to three stars inset with pearls.
On the back are the initials of the member, “D.A.H.”, the Greek letters, ΘΚ (Theta Kappa), and the member number “1320”. The pin is marked 10K on one point of the crescent and has the makers mark on the other point. There is a loop to attach a chapter guard or other emblem but one did not come with the pin.
The Theta Kappa chapter was founded at Southern Methodist University in 1916.
The pin has not been cleaned and is being sold “as is”.
