Description

Shurflo 8000-543-250 Bypass Diaphragm Pump with 12-volt electric motor. Also known as Shurflo 8009-543-250.
This self-priming pump can be used for agricultural spraying, spot spraying, fluid transfer, and more. These are the pumps of choice for spot sprayers, foam markers, and transfer applications where smooth, consistent flow is required.
The bypass mode is useful in applications where a wide range of flows and pressures are required ; for example, a spray bar with multiple nozzles, all controlled independently.
The pump continues to run regardless of pressure in the
system. For the spray bar example, the flow rate is different
when one nozzle is turned on as opposed to having two or
more turned on. As nozzles are turned off, excess flow is
bypassed within the pump.
