Description

This SHURflo 8000-543-238 Electric 12V DC Diaphragm Pump can be used for high pressure, heavy-duty agricultural spraying and fluid transferring applications.
Its chemically-resistant Viton valves and Santoprene diaphragm allow for the pumping of a range of common agricultural chemicals, such as herbicides, pesticides, liquid fertilizers, insecticides, fungicides, and more for weed, pest, and insect control spraying.
The conical-shaped valve design is able to deliver high flow rates at maximum discharge pressures, making the pump perfect for sprayers that are typically used on farms and around the yard. Powered by a durable 12V DC electric motor, this SHURflo 8000-543-238 Diaphragm Pump delivers reliability and optimal performance for flows up to 1.8 GPM.
Featured on this diaphragm pump is a 100 PSI automatic demand switch that is designed to automatically turn the pump on and off whenever flow is required, eliminating the need for a pressure regulator and helping to conserve electrical power by only using it when pump flow is in demand. Keep in mind that demand pumps need balance flow, so if the nozzle used on a spray gun or spray boom is too small, it may restrict the flow, causing the demand pump to shut off.
To filter out any contaminates that may enter the pump and possibly cause damage to it, we recommend using the TeeJet AA122-1/2-PP-16 Line Strainer.
