Shurflo 8000-543-236 Automatic Demand Diaphragm Pump with 12-volt electric motor. Also known as Shurflo 8009-543-236.
These 8000 series pumps are Shurflo's most used agricultural pumps. Viton valves provide maximum chemical resistance, while the unique conical valve design delivers high flow rates at maximum discharge pressures, making this pump the top choice for sprayers used on the farm or around the yard. Great for spot spraying, agricultural spraying, fluid transfer, and more.
The automatic demand switch is useful in applications where a set flow and pressure are required ; for example, spray wands on spot sprayers.
When the operator shuts off the wand, pressure in the
line increases to a set point and the pressure switch
shuts off the motor. A check valve inside the pump keeps
trapped pressure in the line. When the wand is turned
back on, pressure in the line decreases. The pressure
falls below the set point then restarts the pump.
