Shurflo 8000-533-236 Automatic Demand Diaphragm Pump with 115-volt electric motor.
This self-priming pump delivers the same reliability as the 12V Shurflo pumps, only in a 115 VAC capacity. It is ideal for a range of applications, including agricultural spraying, spot spraying, fluid transfer applications, and more that require moderate pressure with flow rates up to 1.4 gpm and low amp draw.
The automatic demand mode on this pump is useful in applications where a set flow and pressure are required ; for example, spray wands on spot sprayers. The demand switch eliminates the need for a pressure regulator and only operates when liquid flow is required. It reacts to outlet pressure and interrupts power at a preset shutoff pressure. As soon as the pressure drops below a predetermined level, the demand switch closes and the pump only operates until the shutoff pressure is achieved once again.
