    Description

Roman Republic silver denarius of moneyer Q. Titius, 90 BC, Sear 239, RRC 341/2, RSC Titia 2. The obverse shows a head of young Bacchus or Liber, to the right, wreathed with ivy. No obverse legend. The reverse shows Pegasus, to the right, appears to be on a tablet or pedestal, front feet raised, and wings open. On the tablet is "Q. TITI". Both sides are a nice original toned silver color, with the area around Pegasus being lighter and giving it a halo effect around it. This is a genuine original coin, not a copy, replica or reproduction.
