RARE!! Vintage Antique 1930s 1940s Leather FLOYD CLYMER Motorcycle CRASH HELMET

Rare Antique Vintage Floyd Clymer Crash Helmet
From The Research I've Been Able To Do, This Piece Seems To Be From Floyd Clymer's First Shop Located In Los Angeles, California at 434 W. Pico Street; Which Should Date This Item From The Late 1930's To The Early 1940's When He Moved To His Second Location Up The Same Street. I Have Not Been Able To Find Any Other Floyd Clymer Helmets That Date This Early.
I'm Not Quite Sure On The Materials Used; It Doesn't Seem To Have Fiberglass In The Outer Shell, It Is Somewhat Light Weight, And The Inside Seems Sort Of Like An Old Burlap / Potato Sack Material With Not Much Internal Padding. The Original Leather That Remains On The Outer Trim And Ear Guards Is Chipping / Peeling And Has Definitely Seen Better Days. The Round Outer Leather / Red Trim Is Very Fragile And Barely Hanging Onto The Helmet Itself.
This Item Is Being Sold At Auction As A Rare Antique Collectible with A Little Bit Of History.
I Have Not Attempted Any Sort Of Repair Or Cleaning For This Item.
