    Description

    This is a fantastic find, straight out of a house that had many other
    early 20th century Danish sterling pieces.  The modernist candlestick
    holders, suitable for long, thin taper candles, are absolutely gorgeous!
    Each small round base (measuring about 2") holds a coil of sterling silver
    wire to create the modernist design.  Marked on back:  "A.F. Rasmussen
    Sterling Denmark 925 S" along with the number "205."  Together, both
    candlesticks weigh 63 grams. I believe these to be from the 1920s - 1930s.
    Very hard to find any A.F. Rasmussen pieces anywhere, although sometimes
    they come up at antique auction sites. Modernist Mid-Century era enthusiasts will
    enjoy these!
