QUALITY ANTIQUE ENGLISH GEORGIAN PERIOD GOLD FOILED CITRINE SEAL FOB c1780
A lovely antique English, very heavily gold filled (probably solid in parts) fob; its frame beautifully made, and set with a foiled citrine seal engraved with a gentleman in profile.
A lovely heavy Georgian period fob...so collectable!
CONDITION
: All original and generally very good. Some gilding wear commensurate with age and use - see pictures. Needs a light clean.
DATE/MARKS
: Around 1780/1800. Not marked.
DIMENSIONS
: 28 mm tall, base 19 x 17 mm (1 inch = 25.4 mm).
WEIGHT
: Approx. 10.4 grams.
