Kydex Sheath for Fiskars X15 also fits new 28" chopping axe SEE DETAILS

This sale is for a .080 kydex sheath designed for the Fiskars X15 axe and will also fit the NEWER 28 inch chopping axe model #375581-1001 they share the same head
.
WILL NOT FIT OLDER/OTHER DISCONTINUED MODELS INCLUDING  #7858 PRO CHOPPING AXE. THEY HAVE A FLARED TOP ON THE BIT AND WILL NOT FIT. PLEASE DOUBLE CHECK YOUR MODEL.
I HAVE INCLUDED A PICTURE OF BOTH MODELS THIS SHEATH IS INTENDED TO FIT.
PLEASE NOT FISKARS STAMPS THESE OUT BY THE TRUCKLOAD AND NOT EVERY AXE IS THE SAME SIZE, PERFECT FIT IS NOT POSSIBLE WITHOUT USING YOUR AXE TO FORM WITH. I HAVE SEVERAL AXES TO TEST FIT AND HAVE TRIED TO CREATE A MEDIUM FIT. IF YOU HAVE ISSUES PLEASE CONTACT ME.

The sheath is designed to allow the axe blade to remain covered while using the poll to set tent stakes, drive wedges or doing trail side repairs.
The slide lock eliminates the need for typical retaining straps going arount the back side of the head which can become damaged while hammering.
The lock is simple to operate it slides back and forth, no tools needed.
All of my sheaths are smoothed and edged. I also flare the opening to assist re-sheathing the blade.
