PAIR of Gorham 925 Sterling Silver, 3 Light Convertible Candelabras. Marked 809 but unable to locate pattern name.
This antique set was made by the Gorham Corporation of Providence, Rhode Island. These elegant candelabras boast a gadrooned (rope-like) banding, regal lines, and curved, fluted arms. These candelabra are made up of four pieces, by unscrewing pieces they can be adjusted to varying heights of 11-1/2", 9" or 5" to suit the occasion. These are very sturdy and graceful pair.
Material: Sterling Silver (925/1000) (not plated) with cement-filled base and internal rod of other metal
Condition: These are in excellent, unpolished condition and are very solid. There are no dents or scratches. There is some dark patina left in the gadrooned detail.These pieces have never been monogrammed or repaired.
