Fiskars X7 custom kydex sheath, blade mask with locking design. Condition is New.
This sale is for a BLACK .080 kydex sheath that has a slide lock retention system. It is designed for a stock un-modified Fiskars X7, X5 hatchet, Fiskars N7 or Gerber 14" and Gerber 9" branded equivalent.
WILL NOT FIT OTHER NON FISKARS MADE AXES SUCH AS IMPORTED GERBER AXES NOT MADE BY FISKARS
This sale does not include a hatchet.
The sheath is designed to allow the hatchet or axe blade to remain covered while using the poll while pounding tent stakes, driving wedges or doing trail side repairs.
The slide lock eliminates the need for a typical "retaining strap" going around the back of the head which can be damaged while hammering.
The sheath size is kept minimal so that it can be used in an axe sleeve or stored in many backpack side/wing pockets.
All of my sheaths are smoothed and edged. I also flare the opening to assist re-sheathing the blade.
