    Description

This is a titanium tandem hand-built by Kent Eriksen (Moots founder) and Brad Bingham in Steamboat Springs, CO. It was built for me (5'11" - captain) and my son (5'11" - stoker) for Dirty Kanza......a 200 mile gravel race in Emporia Kansas. Not only did we finish before midnight (the only team with a visually impaired stoker to finish) we made the cover of the DK Bible the following year. We spared no expense in the build to include an
    XDdriver
and cassette that makes for a nice full range of gear combinations.....from crawling to flying. Stoker position is adjustable with a setback seatpost and an adjustable stem all the way seated against the seatpost (ie all the way forward). Would be a very easy adjustment down to 5'7" up to 6'0". NOX carbon wheels and an extra set of Stans wheels for a quick sag switch if needed.
Electronic shifting. Enve bars. Enough Nickless Cages
for a trip across the Sahara.....with a couple of bottle mounts unused. Pannier bosses.
    King hubs
    ,
    headset and bottom brackets
    . And Brad's cool
    drive-side timing
    . A pretty slick setup.
This is a pretty unique tandem with same-sized captain and stoker. And it's made to last by the best.
Thanks for looking. Please let me know if you have questions. Will deliver if you live someplace worth visiting. :). Will include a nice hitch-mount tandem rack.  This bike is listed on other classifieds so it may be sold through other sites.
    Best,
    Ben

    answers to a few questions:
Cranks are 175mm. Stoker bars are 27 inches. Captain bars are 27.5 inches. Weight is 38.4 pounds.
I have bar ends for the captain as well. Nice having some different hand positions for a long trek.
Let me know if you have any other questions. My son is now married and moving overseas to teach for the next two years. Sadly this beauty isn't being ridden.
