I'm a dealer - not a collector.  This means, I want to sell everything I list on EBAY to a good home.  The downside is, if I don't sell the item, I scrap it.  So if you see this listing and you don't even ask me a question, how are you going to know what I am going to take?  If I have a good day in sales, I can be very generous.  If a bad one, well, I'll stick to my guns about price.  What I am not is a fool.  I don't sell my items at 1/2 price - I don't sell silver/gold for 1/2 its scrap value.  I know what I have and what it's worth.  So please, be fair in your offer, if you make one.  And as with most dealers, the more you buy, the better I can deal!  So, here's my latest listing!

It took me awhile to figure this ring out but once I did, I had to marvel at the ingenuity of it. Starting with a 10K Gold and black enamel Delta Delta Delta sorority pin for Rosalie I. Ziercher - Delta XI chapter - Member 700 - the pin was opened and thrust through a round hole in the ring shank - securing at the far end with the original catch of the pin. Sorry I didn't do a photo with the 2 pieces separate but I didn't want to take it apart just in case I couldn't get it back together again. Ring size is 8 and is hallmarked with makers marks and 10K. Weight is 5.3 grams. The 5/8" x 5/8" sorority pin has no markings I can spot but there could be something hidden that I am missing - the piece was lightly tested for content and held fast at 10K. An outstanding find that I hope can find a new home!
