    Description

    COREOPSIS ROSEA "AMERICAN DREAM", PINK COREOPSIS
    This is a rhizomatous perennial which typically grows in dense clumps to 40 cm tall and has very delicate, ferny foliage. It is noted for being the only coreopsis with pink flowers. The species is native to eastern USA. "American Dream" is a low-growing, compact selection with hundreds of starry, pink daisies to 3 cm in diameter from early summer into the autumn. Easy, first year flowering perennial that can be grown as an annual. Great for edging in a sunny border, massing or planting in pots and containers. Tolerates heat and humidity, but prefers a moist soil.
