    A 1930s superb Spode Byron Series No 2 / Copeland Spode Sandwich Plate / Spode Design / Vintage Sandwich Serving Plate / Vintage Housewares / Vintage Sandwich Platter / Transferware Plate / Divided Plate / Plate with Children / Octagonal Plate
    This beautiful Spode Sandwich plate, circa 1937, is the second and last in the Byron series. It features a young boy being given a drink by his mother. The octagonal plate is subtly divided into 4 with ridges in the china.
    W T Copeland (& Sons Ltd) manufacture earthenwares at the Spode Works, Stoke-on-Trent, in the heart of the Staffordshire Potteries.
    The sandwich plate measures a maximum of 10 inches in diameter.
    The condition is very good and there are no chips, cracks or hairlines and there is no sign of any crazing.
    It is nice and clean and in good condition and overall it is in fine fettle for the age.
    It would be a super addition to any collection, excellent display or practical piece, or authentic period prop.
