Amazing Antique Reeded Candlestick French Sterling Silver Para Dinas 1833
Amazing Mexican sterling silver Chamberstick with reeded rims and handle as well as Palmette decorations. Marked Sanchez and Para Dinas . Stamped with genuine marks of the Chief Assayer Cayetaro Buitron c.1823-1843. The stick is attached to the base by way of a silver stud and bolt.
This attractive Chamberstick measures 5" across the handle, 4 1/2" wide, 3" tall, and weighs 7.5 ozt.
The soft, warm, original finish is present, with no buffing or machine polishing.
The excellent original condition and clear, crisp detail, with no monograms, removals or alterations, make this an especially attractive offering. There is an old repair on the handle. There are some expected dents due to age and loving usage.
