BREN WW2 LMG rear sight ladder for MK2, MK3

Description

for BREN GUN 303  LMG     MK2  & MK3    ( not for MK1 ) ladder type sight  will also work for MK 4 (308)
This  Rear site was Modification by Enfield  (England)   to replace dial type to cut production time
on the receiver  -    so they made this ladder type also less machining operations and time on the receiver
designated  MK 2  then MK 3    and later MK4  (308)    (so they stopped making the dial type that was MK 1)
The parts were cleaned polished and reassembled  using  unused (new in storage)  parts  from 1940 and onwards
LADDER   is for the gun models listed above -
they will packed with petroleum jelly grease or oily solution for preservation
it can be removed with paper towels or denatured alcohol or any light petroleum solvent
