Antique (Faux?)Tortoiseshell Coin Purse - Golden/MofPearl Inlay, Orig. Lining

Description

This is a beautiful Antique Tortoiseshell/Faux Tortoiseshell Coin Purse with "Gold/Golden Tone" with a little bit of "Mother of Pearl" Inlay (I think). There is a good working latch. Inside there is a blue satin lining which seems original and is in good condition. There are 4 compartments inside - one has a little latch. Some of the "gold" inlay is missing and there is a piece that is raised. There are 6 or 7 small "Mother of Pearl" inlay dots on the top, but several are missing. There is a floral design also where some of the "gold" has worn off. See the pictures for details, please.
This belonged to my mother-in-law. I have no idea the origin of the coin purse or how old it is. I assume that it is antique and real tortoiseshell but cannot 100% guarantee it. It is in good shape. Some typical wear, especially in the inlay as noted.
Measures approximately 2 1/2 inches by 1 3/4 inches.
