An antique English, solid 9 carat gold (tests thereabouts, possibly cased in parts) fob with hand engraved decoration and set with a high quality polished sardonyx seal, as yet uncut.
Lovely, collectable - and perfect for any chain or charm bracelet!
CONDITION
: All original and generally good. Wear, denting and distortion to frame shape - see pics. Very faint nibbling to seal - of little consequence.
DATE/MARKS
: Around 1870/80, not marked.
DIMENSIONS
: 27 mm tall, base 16 mm (1 inch = 25.4 mm).
WEIGHT
: Approx. 6.1 grams.
