Antique 19th Century British Sterling Silver Pocket Albert Watch Chain & Fobs
This stunning pocket watch chain was made in the late 19th Century in Great Britain.
At the end of the longer chain there are the eight attachments as pictured:
1. Sterling Silver, Madeira Citrine and Amethyst stamp seal (chip to Madeira Citrine edge) showing two birds on a drinking fountain
2. Sterling Silver and Agate "Tau" Greek Letter representing resurrection
3. Sterling Silver and red Carnelian Cross
4. Sterling Silver retractable miniature pencil (works but needs a new lead)
5. Sterling Silver T-Bar
6. Sterling Silver crest (not monogrammed) made in 1908 by William James Dingley
7. 1887 Silver Coin
8. 1897 Shilling Silver Coin
Overall, the piece is in very good condition considering its age and the wear it must have seen. The only damage is a chip to the Madeira Citrine on the stamp seal.
This stylish piece measures 14.5" long (main chain) / 2" (chain attachment) and weighs
55.5 grams. Each chain link is hallmarked and the pieces carry several British hallmarks.
