Antique 1900s European Sterling Silver Pocket Watch Chain & Jockey Fob
This stunning pocket watch chain and fob was made in the early 1900s. The fob swivels in an intricately crafted Sterling Silver frame. The spinning piece seems to made from amber colored Bakelite with an inlaid two-sided golden profile of a jockey and inlaid gemstones. The fob frame has a crack and the Bakelite piece is missing some of the gemstones (see pictures). Overall, the piece is in very good condition considering its age and the wear it must have seen. The chain is very well made and features two clasps.
This stylish piece measures 15" long (chain) and weighs
15 grams. Stamped with several unidentified hallmarks. The jockey fob measures 1" x 7/8" (without bale).
