    Description

This lot of old Jewelers Stamping Dies are
    nice
condition. I believe that these dies date from the 1920's or earlier, and I am sure you will know. Included here are
    (7) Jewelry/Pendant Die blocks
of long ago. These dies were purchased from a long defunct Jewelry store in central Ohio. The store had been closed since the 1940's. The tallest of the die blocks measures almost 2" inches in height and most of these dies measure over 1-1/2" inches across their outer diameter. The cavities measure from just under 1/2" up to 1" in length. Each of these depicts small die cavities with various schools detail. Take notice that many of these look to be Fraternity or College club related. One die depicts a Mayflower like sailing ship, while many others have attractive detail also. The most interesting of these would be the NAU Dames Arrow die that I can see have matching jewelry that other sellers are currently selling...likely made from this die back in the day. Looking closely, this Dames cavity may have a small chip or flaw within the center detail though. These dies are made of hardened steel, and t

other cracks, breaks, or chips on these gems. Together these 7 die blocks weigh over 5 lbs (2400 grams). Some aging on the outside surfaces of the block(all shown). Strong still, and all look to be usable. My 10 closeup photos are very true to life. Hopefully someone needs this to complete their collection. Too cool to pass up! Guaranteed 100% old and original. A must for the old Jewelry or Die maker. Buyer pays .50 carefully boxed shipping within the U.S. **
