    Description

    Hammer shanks for grand/baby grand piano.  This is an unusual design so please read carefully.  These shanks were pulled from a Brambach piano, fitted with "The Improved Swiss Action".  They have a fairly unusual knuckle shape and the center pins are held tightly by the shank with the felt bushings installed in the flanges - this is reversed from most grand actions.  The distance from the centerpin to the flange is a minimum of 5 1/4" and the shank itself is replaceable, much like replacing a shank in an upright hammerbutt.
