    Description

    2007 Honda CBR1000rr Repsol Edition -> REAL, not a regular 1000rr with Repsol plastics/wheels
    CLEAR Title In-Hand -> ,000 FIRM -> no test rides until cash in hand. Bike is listed locally and listing may be removed early if sold.
    Limited Edition - number #815 - 1 of 2 Repsol Edition bikes that Bartlesville Honda received that year (my friend bought the 2nd one)
    Story behind the 2007 year model Repsol -> Honda made the 2005 Repsol for the U.S. but wasn't going to make it for the 2007 year. But when American, Nicky Hayden, won the 2006 MotoGP Championship then that changed everything and forced Honda's hand to bring the 2007 Repsol to the U.S. again..... the rest is history. One of the most replicated color schemes in motorcycle history. Nicky Hayden passed away at 35 years old in 2017 when he was struck by a driver in Italy while training on his bicycle.
    This bike is a head turner, wherever it goes! With the extra little touches and nods to the MotoGP Honda RC211V, it separates itself from every other Repsol out there on the road. I've installed every part, sticker and all work done on this bike myself. The bike came from the Honda factory with the sponsor sticker kit optionally applied. I've replicated exactly where each sponsor went on the bike, most Repsols I've seen are either incompletely applied, in the wrong order or in the wrong spots on the bike. I've taken extreme detail into account and you can tell when you put other Repsols beside this one.
    This bike has some highly sought after parts from other countries, at the time, that are no longer produced and makes it even that much more one of a kind. It's been professionally tuned by one of the best in The Bay and produces smooth power that seems to never end. You can see from the Dyno sheet, it's makes a smooth powerband all the way up to 164.9 HP
    When I purchased the bike, I lived in Texas at the time (hence the Texas plate) and then moved to The Bay in 2016 but just never changed the plates because I ride so little now. I have a vision for my business and it's time to move on from motorcycles at this moment in my life......

    Story of the scrapes -> pulled out of the parking lot on a cool day, after having some fresh tires put on, and hit a slick patch of asphalt as I started to roll onto the throttle and went down at 5mph. The previous no-cut frame slider bracket didn't hold up and snapped, which is how I got the scrapes on the right side. You can see the scrape on the right side above the frame slider, that's where the bracket snapped.
    Story of the rear wheel -> The brake caliper bolts backed out of the original bracket and the caliper fell off the bracket while riding. Luckily I felt the drag and slowed down quick enough before something extremely disastrous happened but the damage was done to the paint. The brake line had a small crack because of this and dripped a little brake fluid, which caused the 2 spots of paint damage in the photos.
