2 Warsaw Polish Solid Silver Detailed Figural Lion of Judah Candle Chamber Sticks with Armorial Crest with hallmarks c1850 12 loth silver
Presented is a fantastic pair of detailed figural chamber stick with an excellent shape of a Lion of Judah with a great winged lions head for a ring handle. These beautiful pieces are hallmarked on the bottom for Silver made in Warsaw Poland c1850 of 12 loth or 750 fine silver; American standard sterling silver is 925 fine, so there is slightly less silver in this alloy. These great pieces have an excellent engraved period armorial on the oval pedestal base with a period calligraphic WB dedication. Both chamber sticks have some dents and dings and some scratches in the detailed high finish. There is as well a hole in one of the nozzles and both have slight bends of the nozzles aprons and a slight push in to pedestal base. They are excellent pieces for the collector.

Marks
:  hallmarks for Polish Silver made in Warsaw 12 loth silver or 750 fine silver; American standard sterling silver is 925 fine, so there is slightly less silver in this alloy.
Condition
: some dents and dings, period engraved armorial crest with calligraphic dedication or monogram, a hole in of the nozzles, both have slight bends of the nozzles aprons, and a slight push in to pedestal base, some scratches from use and care.
