Baldwin pedal lyre brace screws and inserts for U.S. made grand and baby grand pianos, models M, R, L (I don't believe the SF and SD used these).  Brass plated. PN 0247-134695.  The end of the pedal lyre brace ("lyre sticks") that contacts the underside of the piano has a hole in it and the insert is driven into this hole.  The T shaped screw threads into the insert and the T shape fits into a slot on a block on the underside of the piano.  This makes adjusting the lyre brace (by rotating the brace) for a snug fit very easy - probably the easiest lyre brace system in the piano business.  Too loose and the pedal lyre can wiggle (and squeak) when a pedal is pressed, too tight and it will affect alignment of the lyre.
Most grand pianos do not use this style of lyre brace - before ordering please make certain your piano uses this style, unless you are planning to perform a retrofit (which does make lyre braces easier to install and adjust).  If there is enough interest in the slotted blocks that fit under the keybed we will make them available.
