    Description:
    A nice crisp uncirculated banknote from Malawi. This is the 10 Kwacha note issued based on the Reserve Bank of Malawi Act of 1989. The note was issued 1 September 1992. The note is blue gray, blue violet and dark brown on multicolored underprint. It depicts the image of Dr. Hastings Kamuzu Banda, the president of Malawi in the period 1961-1994 to the right of the front. The front also has the image of a palm tree and a man in dugout canoe on lake Malawi with a silver circle in the center having golden rays emanating from it. The note is signed by the Governor of the Reserve Bank of Malawi at the time of issue. The back of the note depicts the image of a large building with a flag in front of it. The note has a watermark depicting a standing rooster. The note has a solid security thread to the left of center. This particular note is dated 1 September 1992 and has the serial number BX262230 in ascending size numerals displayed twice in black on the front.
