This is a WW2 British made three sided matchbox cover that features a full 1943 calendar. The other large side features a portrait of a uniformed soldier from the Royal Air Force, Royal Army, and Royal Navy. The third side has the letter "V" with the dot dot dash morse code and reads "Our Deepest Gratitude and admiration to them all." It is also marked "BRITISH MADE COPYRIGHT." The matchbox measures about 2 1/4" by 1 1/2" by 1". It is a three sided matchbox cover with an old empty box of matches (I am unsure if the box is WWII era.)
