This beautiful pair of three light candelabra was made in Germany circa 1900 by ‘JD Schleissner & Söhne’, profusely decorated with engraved and chiseled garlands of poppies and roses and high relief…leaves and scrolls surrounding reserves. The silverwork is in great antique condition as pictured. They can be used as candlesticks…They are fully hallmarked ‘Crescent & Crown’, ‘935’ for silver purer than sterling silver and silversmith’s mark for ‘J.D. Schleissner & Söhne’ to the base and repeats to the internal rim of the sconces and the drip pans are marked ‘935’. They measure 9 ½” to the highest point, 10 ½” across and 4 ½” in diameter to the base; without the arms 5 ½” high…They weigh 1,445 grams or 50.95 oz.
