Oxalis palmifrons is a fascinating and very attractive flowering perennial. Oxalis is the generic name of a plant from South Africa with more than 200 species. Oxalis palmifrons is one of these species, which got its name from the leaves - tiny symmetrical twigs radiating from the top of each stem, making it look like a tiny cluster of miniature palm trees for the whole world.
It is also sometimes called the false palm leaf trefoil or simply the false trefoil.
Palm leaf oxalis plants grow in the West Karru region of South Africa, and they need the same warm weather to survive. They can be grown outdoors in zones 7b - 11 of the USDA. In cooler climates, they work well as container plants on a bright windowsill.

Temperature:

Light:
A fairly bright room without direct sunlight is recommended. Lack of light will slow down growth, and too much sun can scorch the leaves.
Watering:
