    Description

    Fairly common in antique upright pianos, this is the cushion of felt glued in a slot on the hammerbutt and also the damper lever that reduces corresponding spring noise.
    I have also used them from time to time in rebuilding grand piano wippens and rarely as a let off punching when in a tight pinch for space. 3/8" diameter, .065" thick.
