    Description

A design I haven't seen much. Where most brass casters have flat edges (the part that contacts the floor), this caster wheel has a curved edge. New old stock, brass (plated frame, solid wheel) furniture stem style casters/wheels for spinet or console piano front legs. Very common on US made verticals from the 1950's-1990's and some earlier models as well.
Sockets included. Wheel is 1 1/4" in diameter, 5/8" wide.  Distance from bottom of wheel to top of frame (not including stem) is about 1 7/16".  Stem is almost 1 3/4" long.  Mounting socket is about 1 5/8" tall and is about 1/2" in diameter.
*note* - there were some original casters on US made spinets and consoles that looked very similar (had the recessed wheel sides) but had a solid brass (instead of plated) wheel that was 11/16" wide.  The closest I have to that style caster is our item #
    291669868246.
Limited stock. To my knowledge this style caster is no longer manufactured and not available at any piano supply houses.
